A Particular Japan

This is a series of images captured in 2017 during the short time I am living in Japan. In the process, I tried to minimize the influence of prejudgments I had about the Japanese culture and to portray situations as they were revealed to me while exploring the streets of Japan. From this interaction, I constructed my own image of this place and the elements within, certainly far from 'the real Japan', but 'a particular Japan'.
