Moscow Meditations
Moscow Meditations is an ongoing project photographed in the artist's home city of Moscow starting in the summer of 2017. It explores themes of isolation and contemporary Russian identity against the backdrop of an urban uprooted backdrop of a city under renovation and in flux; its reflection on its inhabitants and the elements of nature contained within this environment. The series is also accompanied by a series of poems. All of the photographs are taken on Kodak Portra 400 and Kodak tri-x film.
