Portraits No. 2

Portraits have always been important to me. I think I prefer capturing portraits to other genres that I also shoot because of all the emotional possibilities that come when you add a human to the mix. My objective is always pretty simple and straightforward. I want the viewer to either make some sort of connection with the subject and/or feel an overall mood from the photograph. My biggest fear, of course, is that they walk away feeling nothing. Obviously it's up to the viewer how they ultimately interpret a photograph, but I want to steer them a bit and give them some elements to work with as they craft their own narrative for the image in their head.
