As night falls ....

Contingency fascinates me. Why is our life the way it is? I remember seeing a movie once that depicted two parallel stories. Despite started from the same place, a tiny detail set each story on its own course. In my project, I show city dwellers at dusk in an atmosphere imbued with a feeling of melancholy, reverie, and sometimes loneliness. These pictures are starting points from which I like to imagine stories, these people's stories. What are they doing? Where are they going? What are they talking about? What are they thinking about? What's going to happen to them? This project is still a work in progress.
