Esther English “Esther”, it 's the portrait of an old woman lost in the deep forest. An expiatory loneliness under the glance of her God. Timeless images which could be taken anywhere in Europe, Canada or in the United States. By making the portrait of a person many things can be learned on oneself or on lifes. One evening of this summer 2016, my case stow away , sitting next to Esther, we were looking by the open door at the hot light of the evening . The sun lighted faintly the golden grasses which waves under the breeze. Then with a serene face, staring to the distance, she told me: “you know, I 'm a privileged person”. I didn't answered but I said to myself that sometimes life gives us a lesson in living at the most unexpected time. French Esther, c’est le portrait d’une vieille dame perdue au fond des bois. Une solitude expiatoire sous le regard de son Dieu. Images intemporelles qui pourraient être prises n’importe où en Europe, au Canada ou aux Etats-Unis. En faisant le portrait d’une personne, on apprend souvent beaucoup de choses sur soi-même ou sur la vie. Un soir de cet été 2016, mon boîtier rangé, assis à côté d’Esther, on regardait la lumière chaude du soir par la porte ouverte. Le soleil éclairait faiblement les herbes dorées qui ondulaient sous la brise. Alors le visage serein, le regard perdu au loin, elle m’a dit : « Tu sais, je suis une privilégiée ». Je n’ai rien répondu mais je me suis dit que la vie nous donne parfois des leçons au moment le plus inattendu.
