I have always been drawn to the qualities of painting "an eternity of light" so to speak ,I have also been very influenced by European films for their narrative quality. I don't want to try to recapture Romanticism as much as reclaim it for the time In which I live. I think there is more to say about what beauty means in the context of art,.. acknowledging history without being stuck in it... I Found in Berlin a more subtle palette to work within.
