Franciscus & Franciscus over Curaçao

This serie was created during an artist in residency at the Caribean island of Curaçao. Granted by the Mondrian Foundation the artist duo Franciscus & Franciscus was invited to make portaits in their highy specific style inspired by Flemisch painter Hans Memling of caracteristic inhabitants of the island. Lead by the philosopher Jung and his theory on archetypes the series shows the coulourful population and its louscious surroundings.
