Moments after the moment

The subject in each of these photographs is a good friend. While the images are not candid in the true sense of the word, they were taken casually and without any posing or direction. Each image was taken just after an emotive event. My objective: attempt to capture that refractory moment. The afterglow. Those few moments when you instinctive reactions give way to contemplation and more complex feelings
