Submission

The portraits I'm submitting for consideration come from different instances of series and assignments. They stick out in my mind due to why I was photographing them, but also for how I felt because of them. Whenever I'm photographing someone or something I am always trying to find something that speaks true emotion - whether it's positive or painful. These portraits achieved what I was looking for and have stuck with me as my favorite shots over the last year.
