At Home
Project info

Living in Los Angeles, it's nearly impossible to walk down the street without seeing evidence of the city's homeless crisis. Tents and makeshift shelters propped up under freeway overpasses, on sidewalks, in parks, people sleeping at bus stops, in shelters, in their their cars. The statistics are staggering - the number of people experiencing homelessness has grown 75% in the past six years to roughly 55,000 people.

Working for the organization LA Family Housing, I have the opportunity to work with some of these individuals to help them get back into housing. At every move-in, I bring my camera and ask if I can take a few pictures of them, here, at home.
