Portraits

I am fascinated taking portrait photos. I find them hard to do in that I seem to physically sculpt my subjects with both light and pose. Most of the poses are not real poses though, it's when I think the moment is right. There is an interesting interaction going on between me the photographer and the people I photograph. A sense of trust building and a strange bond of silence. I love taking portraits even though it's the hardest to do, especially physically, usually after taking portraits I feel quite tired.
