A force to be reckoned with

In this series I search for the power that lies within the fragility of young men. In a mysterious world of sexual fluidity I am always on the hunt for something extraordinary. Even though I conduct the shoot, it often becomes a seamless playground of bestial positions, moving light, ritualized dance and carefully selected totems like birds or feathers, face marks or pieces of fabric. For me every shoot is an act of performance in which I slowly push the performer until I release something in them, which I then capture on film. Within this playfulness, often touched by melancholia, everyone stands out as powerful yet vulnerable characters.
