Portraits of souls

I concentrate on keeping my portraits simple, so that attention is drawn to the person. I'm most interested in the elements of a subject that one picks up in person, but which don't translate so well to print. I want to clearly see the subjects' eyes, and get the same feeling from the image that I get when I'm with them in person.
