Diva is a Jamaican dragqueen living in the former dutch jail 'The Bijlmer'. My photos are a reflection of the contradiction of Diva's escape from the gay- hate in Jamaican into the 'freedom' of The Netherlands in a former dutch jail, where she lives in until she's giving a new home. The mormon boys are portraits I made in a mormon church in Zoetermeer.
