The first part of a documentary project called Vanishing world, portraying life in the Czech villages of Banat region, Romania. Czech citizens first came to Romania 200 years ago and their ascendants still retain the archaic version of their native language. The elderly still work hard on fields, breed cows, sheep and other domestic animals, living pretty much like grand grandparents hundred years ago. But with the modern age slowly catching up, the youths don't want to work hard on fields and do "dirty work" with their hands anymore, most of them had left their villages either for bigger Romanian cities or the distant Czech Republic.
