The isolated island

Allow me to fill your place with clouds. At least, grant me the wish of bringing you a horizon. Have you ever wondered what dreams are? In which hemisphere of the body or soul rests happiness? I have seen so many people sit at the border of their lands, with their eyes immersed in these and other questions. I respect that moment so much that I have learned to admire them, because it is a moment of peace. And because among so much chaos, to draw an axis with the immensity is to remember how tiny we are, how senseless is all the running around, how basic are the things that really matter, and that calmness from the other side. Allow me to fill you place with clouds, they are my horizon, my utopia, my hope. Someone asked once, what is utopia good for? And a person, that I barely know, but without a doubt a beautiful person, answered that he asked himself the same question every day. He explained, “utopia is in the horizon, unattainable. If you walk ten steps towards it, utopia gets ten steps further away. If you walk twenty steps, utopia will retreat another twenty. What is it for then? But for walking of course.” Allow me to fill your place with clouds, they are my utopia, the horizon and hope. The isolated island is the first outdoor exhibition that takes place in Havana's Cathedral Square, in its 498 years of history.
