PDX

PDX is the airport code for Portland, Oregon (USA), a wonderful place I met ten years ago. I chose to honor the uncomplicated nature of Portland by creating a straightforward photo essay using only the images I created on a single drive that started in the afternoon and lasted one hour past dusk. I captured multiple elements of Portland in a short amount of time to prove my contention that Portland's distinctiveness is undeniable. The simple fabric that makes Portland unique is difficult to explain with words. Images that include nature, regular tourist stops and some neighborhood life round out this collection. PDX is meant to be an effortless glimpse of an understated city.
