Cyanohoops

Cyanohoops Throughout my career I have explored the female figure, family narratives and contemporary issues of being a woman. My intent is to create works of art that are approachable in form and content, are interactive, yet fragile. For this recent body of work, I call Cyanohoops; I have revisited a long time passion of mine, making cyanotypes in my backyard in the summer. Finding inspiration in my garden, from my belongings, my memories, and the love of family, I tell my tale. Cyanohoops depart from the traditional frame and glass and are presented in vintage embroidery hoops.
