I'm (not) perfect

digital collage, 2013 (ongoing project) Born from another set of self portraits I wasn't pretty convinced about, this sequence of collages started by accident. Concentrating on my face, I noticed I had two different expressions which revealed opposite attitudes. One side seemed to belong to a self- assured and radiant woman, the other one showed me a sad and vulnerable person. I reassembled the radiant side by combining two different shots . This originated a set of self-portraits based on the expressiveness of the eyes and hand gestures , which has become psychological self-portraits.
