As a Canadian, becoming an observer of the American military machine has been an adventure, a surreal journey into the hyperbolic patriotism and might of a world so foreign to me. In this four-year documentary project I have travelled across America with the US Navy, meeting the men and women that serve and being a close up observer of this incredible world.
