Blossoms and Beauty is a symphonic composition of colour, light and bodies, attributing
women to classic and exotic flowers. The composition expresses the coloratura, an originally musical ornate, in photographical art. Like a symphony, which is characterised by different movements in unison expressing various moods and feelings, Peter Hebeisen's portraits evoke moods and feelings by the artist's masterly use of chromatic resources projecting the woman's soul into the blossom. "Chloé and gladiolas", "Margaret and sunflowers" or "Suzy and hydrangeas" are portrayals of women and flowers, beauties and blossoms forming together a symphonic composition to be enjoyed through the eyes. The motifs further suggest the baroque idea "carpe diem" by means of a dual way. The freshness of the blossom and the women's youth thus defy the ephemeral character of the composition.
