Single Image Category - Portrait Awards 2014

This is my self portrait, with an inspiration from Picasso's Self Portrait. I tried to deliver a message of the "artist inside me" and combining fine art with photography. My wife painted my face with acrylic paint and the idea was to "duplicate" the look of Picasso on to a photograph through visual representation. This piece was for a college course at Sheridan College for B.A.A. Photography, and the assignment was to create a self portrait that represents me.
