Remediation II

All photographs in this series were produced on August, 21, 2017, which the media has named "The Great American Eclipse". While the location was not within the band of visibility, the lighting had changed slightly for a couple of hours ,in the afternoon , and allowed me to produce photographs with subtle and vibrant colors I wouldn't have been able to produce otherwise. My intent for travelling to this location on this specific date was for exactly that. In this series I was attempting to produce photographs that focused on both the unique shape and texture of the landscape. I was able to accomplish this by exposing the same image twice, but turned 180 degrees. Visually the images correctly expressed my journey on this day, in this location, which are both very significant to me.
