The Early Years

In 2015 I gave birth to my first son, his, was an unplanned pregnancy. 2 years later my second son was born, his, was planned. During this time, like any new parent, I have grappled with the insecurities that I am not be the parent my children need. All the wile, also like most parents, I took pictures of my children. An attempt to freeze a moment in time. I soon recognized I was capturing the moments people don’t normally talk about, the breastfeeding, the tantrums, and and the slow process of bonding with a new addition to the family. These experiences are both universal and intimately unique, capturing the essence of a young family
