The adventures of Margaret J. Thompson

The aim of this photomockumentary is to evoke a feeling of discovery, intrigue and amusement with the viewer. Through the medium of photography I try to bring lego minifigures back to life in various ways. They help me create an imaginary world that gives an extra dimension to reality. In this series, I used the classic photodocumentary format of a 1930s National Geograhic to give the subject a certain background story and credibility. It’s ultimate aim is to surprise and bring a smile to the viewers face.
