Barcelona in chiaroscuro

Barcelona is a great city with a great movement of people. It may seem impossible to find intimate, delicate, collected moments. We, the photographers, however, can look for those moments in which lights and shadows build an intimate setting, dominated by tenebrism and chiaroscuro. It is convenient to know the city, the neighborhood, the hours of light, the angle of the shades, the solar declination, the hardness or softness of the light, the possibility of contrasting the silhouette. Accurately adjust camera settings, choose the right lens and ... wait ... and wait until you get a delicate scene, often even routine but wrapped in a chiaroscuro that, nevertheless, gives an enormous narrative force.
