Sand Treescapes

I work mostly around dawn, finding small scenes to abstract from the landscape. As an artist, my knowledge of painting structure and composition can then inform the editing of my photographic images. My intention is to enhance my landscapes to give an illusion of perspective, but with minimal interference, so that what was originally a 20cm formation can seem like a mile-long vista. Each small abstraction thus gains a brief recognition in its own right, before being washed away by the next tide or unknowingly trampled underfoot.
