I went to art college in my 40's and now teach. I was a practising artist until the beginning of my current Sandscapes project eight years ago, which was the result of pure photographic serendipity.....
Since then I have spent all possible time on the beach or in post-production, and have needed to learn a lot of new skills to make the most of my images. It is very satisfying that my painting experience weaves itself in to create works which often surprise me. It is a passion I seem to have no control over!
