This project is a rolling collective of individual, daily touchpoints that all together work as a matrix, a catalog of instances of convergence between moment, object, and the main subject of ever shifting variables of light. I look to remain loyal to the outworking of each image into something beautiful, and to visually transcribe the fleetingness of the juncture between a small mark in time, often mundane subject matter, and how various qualities of light push the instant of photographic record of the ordinary into lushness and ephemerality. This often requires the layering of several images in postprodution to make the subsequent image sing. The long term study of light’s ability to transform is what this project is all about, as well as the subsequent documentation of light's qualities of punctuation, enrapture, welling up, and its propensity to both engulf and delineate space and form.
