Body Parts IV: suspended animation

This gallery features the child mannequin I used in Body Parts I to explore my feelings about/towards children. I’ve never had children of my own and have generally regarded them as unknowable beings towards whom I feel a benevolent discomfort. It goes deeper than this, of course, and the journey towards self-awareness around this aspect of myself continues. These images are part of that journey.
