I took a trip to Mexico. A country so far from mine that the only images I had in my mind was from the movies. The Latin lover, the hot-tempered Mexican female, the gangster, the lazy man with the sombrero and the drug lord. Stereotypes generalize people ,usually in harmful ways and the worst part is that they’re believable. They ignore the rich and vast diversity that Mexico has to offer and show a lack of respect toward their culture. After 50 days all I saw was totally different. I came across people (some still wearing sombreros) in their daily routine, learned about their rich culture, felt their kindness and solidarity, saw their sense of spirituality. I came back home with the pictures of "My Mexico".
