Ambivalence, tendency to experience or simultaneously manifest two opposing feelings. Love and hate, joy and sadness. Satisfaction and frustration, pride and modesty, serenity and anguish, guilt and peace of mind, regret and contentment. We are often divided between what excites us and what reason tells us to do. As if inside each of us lay a dark part and a part of light. Ambivalence is at the heart of the complexity and richness of the human being.
By these photographic montages I try to recreate this state of mind. I pose a black and white background as a mood, on which I will position various characters that come from a different context. In order to advocate a reflection.
