On a journey to visit the home of my wifes parents, a place she began visiting as a child and fees drawn to in the same way the sea seeks the high water mark. Nantucket has a unique draw that began to pull on me immediately. This portrait is of a small town adrift in the Atlantic facing change inside as it becomes home to the itinerant rich who are displacing the islanders, and change outside, as the Atlantic tries to drag it back into the sea.
