Tokyo Heatwave Summer 2018

Record-breaking temperatures and humidity so thick you can cut it. People have been dying, not only elderly people whose bodies can't regulate heat so well, but schoolchildren and all ages in-between. A famous TV comedian tweeted an apology to all the foreign visitors for the inconvenience. There's something surreal about these extreme conditions. I feel alive and drained at the same time. Exhausted yet wired. It's not hard to feel something fundamental in our world has changed, that things will never be the same again.
