The Russian Revolution, the Communism and the creation of the USSR was one of the most important sociological phenomenon in the last century. 100 years after the revolution and 25 of the Lithuanian independence, I wonder from a sociological point of
view, what happens with the population of these republics who change of residence. In Lithuania, a nationalist country that fights with fear of that time, the Russian language is frowned upon, the population its seen of second-class, but there is a neighborhood,
called Naujoji Vilna, where these prejudices disappear, mostly with population from former republics, looks like a integration model, with Russian schools, soviet monuments and Russian speakers, but it is integration or ghetto? Its population lives as archipelagos, they are united by what separates them, Russian language.
