I like to take pictures in the center of cities, where all sorts of people share the public space. Using light and form, I seek to represent space and its articulation with the human figures and their movement. The camera captures space in a different way than the eye and can bring out views that we otherwise do not notice. I search silence and timelessness in the busy and noisy city. I try to explore intimacy in the public space as well as mystery, in other words the unknown, underlined by emptiness and shadow.
