I am endlessly fascinated by the subtle web of NYC industrial landscape, especially it's bridges, it's rooftops, it's water towers and power lines, it's large signs glowing in the dusk... I use my medium format Hasselblad camera to make double exposures on film by exposing the same negative multiple times, to keep the mystery of few different frames blending into one image within the camera. It seems that through this old fashioned technique I catch the city playing hide and seek with itself, getting lost in it's own shadows and reflections, loosing it's rigidity, turning transparent, becoming a ghost town and at the same time remaining as real and recognizable as it ever was...
