The idea of the project was to capture not only the immensity of the Plateau of Puna de Atacama Argentina, but also its colors, reliefs and shapes. The Puna de Atacama is an extensive territory that is located mainly in the North of Argentina and a small part in the North of Chile, just below the Atacama Desert, where you can see in its mountains and meadows a variety of This color is impressive due to the minerals that make up its lands and the few plants that grow there, as well as its extensive salt marshes, its volcanic zones and its Pomez stone territories.
The idea of the project was to photograph all these colors, their reliefs, their shapes and their size and breadth. It was about showing the colors of the earth and that is why in no photograph the sky, neither the clouds, nor the sun comes out. It is the earth with its whimsical forms and colors that has to speak by itself in the form of images.
The project had to be a photographic challenge with only one camera body and a single objective so that all the photographs had the same focal point.
The Nikon D-5 was chosen and the Nikon 300 f / 4 objective.
It was done in this way so that the result was as similar as possible to what the human eye that made the photograph and the human eye should see it as real as possible.
Its processing had to be careful and gentle gifts, the histogram of each photograph used to be a straight line in its center.
