Summer in The Algarve

After visiting my Portuguese wife's family in the North we hit the South coast to soak up the legendary Mediterranean Summer sun. We heard of these beaches near Portimao that are further away from the typical tourist spots but offer spectacular beaches and coastline. A friendly restaurateur gave us the hot tip about this beach inside a cave with a hole in the top. We took a boat around midday to get the sun directly overhead and were greeted by this incredible scene of lilliput people in this giant cavern! Certainly a magical place.
