Windows of all shapes and sized often reflect interesting images or shapes that fascinate me. Often, too, the reflections combine with the inside decor or shapes that intrigue me. My goal while photographing the windows in various locations was to convey the images in a way that the viewer is able to understand and appreciate what often goes unnoticed.
I chose black and white for most of these submissions since printing in black and white is my favored way of expressing my artistic point of view. I find most forms created by light and shadows are enhance in a significant way without color. At the same time, as in the two color submissions, the element of color in a photo can be the most important element of the visual experience.
