In my project “Gadget Boy”, I’m trying to show how the world of gadgets
mercilessly absorbs modern children and how we parents strive to
share with them a real world. A world where they can gain experience for their independent life, feel new interesting moments and to see how unique it can be.
We travel with children to exotic countries, we enroll
them to interesting (fascinating, cognitive, creative) classes,
we bring them into sports sections, and they, willingly agreeing with us but for some reason quickly losing interest and are always ready to plunge into their world.
And we see their drooping heads and ...
We look back to our childhood. Not having modern nowadays possibilities we were traveling in dreams to parallel worlds (universes), carving gadgets from cardboard.
