CAT PEOPLE

Cat People We rescue this two kittens , Matilde and Picasso from a water pipe . They weighed 220 grams each. These photos were taken in the morning with fantastic summer light streaming in through the window. The two kittens were playing on the floor, so I lay down on their level and registered the moment. Their movement and the light made the photos the way i want them : back light , big contrast between black and white , light and darkness , movement with dust in the air . A feline world between light and darkness, in its stealthy movements and acrobatic jumps . I love the expression of curiosity in their eyes, and the way they play and try to hunt me down (penultimate photo). This series is a tribute to all animals and the privilege we have in sharing the world with them. Angelo Fernandes
