A History Of Cambodia Through It's Buildings.

A country may be defined by what it leaves behind. In Cambodia's case, a long and often turbulent history has left a record in its built structures. This extends well beyond the famous Angkor temples, and provides a richer and more nuanced view of a country, its triumphs, its tribulations and aspirations. In aesthetic terms these images attempt to capture a duality of Cambodia and its history - the often intense, bleaching light of the tropics overlaying a quieter, darker, and more complex undercurrent.
