BIRDS and WHITE

The interest in birdlife made me start photographing years ago and now it is no longer my only photographic interest. I have always tried to enhance, when possible, the environment in which the subjects live or the characteristics that distinguish them from other birds. In all my photos, not just those presented, the determining factor is the case. Each shot is designed in the same moment in which it happens the meeting with the subject and according to the situation, during my travels. Sometimes, as in these shots, the choice of black and white allows me to direct the attention of the observer to the particularity of the situation from which I hope to bring out an idea or a concept that can make people think. Color very often forces an admiration of the beauty of the subjects as an end in itself.
