The Unheard World

The Unheard World tells the story of six-year-old deaf boy Lawand whose family fled the war Iraq overnight with only passports and their clothes. After a harrowing journey across Europe they arrived in England to seek asylum. Photos for the Audiovisability project which campaigns for Lawand's family's right to remain in the UK. The photos were featured in Portrait of Britain 2018 (Hoxton Mini Press).
