Heaven Is 9000 Feet Up

For many years I traveled half a day to find sanctuary in friendship and nature at a friend's property in the Colorado mountains. At first tent camping, then RV living, then finally a small house...till a marriage fell apart. My friendship remains strong, however, and we have memories and images to remind us how magical, albeit prophetic, the place remains.
