Destinations

“Destinations” is an on-going series of conceptual self-portraits reflecting various states of self-awareness and the subconscious. Over the past few years I have often felt compelled to travel alone, finding trust in the direction of my curiosities and certainty in the surpassing of my reservations. Some of these images were conceptualized beforehand where others were created completely on impulse, reflecting a documentation of my surroundings and mind. With my face hidden the woman becomes unidentifiable – allowing others to interpret the images as they will; incorporating their own journey and experiences.
