Noise and Silence

My project is basically my artistic research, which is based on a purely conceptual aspect, linked in particular to the current situation about mass migrations. Noise and Silence, are the two mental states that are opposed. Noise is our state of mind in the rich Western world, while silence is the search for serenity and peace, a hope of life, sought in any way by the rest of the world certainly less fortunate than ours. I represent this concept by depicting brambles and weeds as if they were a barrier between us and them. The photos are in analogue of large and medium format.
