At the core of my work is an innate curiosity around what it means to be human. Through my photography I am continuously exploring distinctions within the human condition. As a result my understanding of what it means to be a woman becomes richer, and my senses become heightened.
My work is a cathartic attempt to continuously develop my lens. This process forces me to create from a place of presence and compassion. I don’t ever wish to provide myself or my viewers with answers, but rather ignite an inquisitiveness that leads to the important questions.
And while my photographs are also symptoms of my mental state, above all else, they are poetic ode's to the characters within frame.
