A Spirit Of Place (photographs from the Noir Series)

This selection of photographs is taken from my ongoing Noir series, heavily influenced by the melancholy of travel and spirit of place...the physical and emotional journeys we take in our lives and the effect of lovers, loss and longing. Drawing on the evocative world of film noir cinematography, the work has been called edgy, dark and surreal and reminiscent of David Lynch. This is taken as a compliment.
